It was a morning of cloud and rain as the heavens wept and nearly 200 people attended both Fr Jason's last Parish Eucharist in St Margaret's and the party afterwards in the Barn. The Churchwardens spoke of Father Jason's contribution to both St. Margaret's Church and the Village and presented on behalf of those who had contributed to a farewell collection, a cheque for ?2,000, a framed print of an unusual view of Ditchling by Andy Roberts who spent his youth in the village. A bouquet was presented to Kathy Clarke. These photos show some of those who attended the event saying farewell to Fr Jason and Kathy and remembering the wonderful times during the five years that Fr Jason was our vicar.
