Blessing the Boundary Walk

Photos of the 16-mile walk around the Ditchling Parish boundary on Monday 29 May 2006, where walkers met heavy showers, storm force winds and plenty of mud. We started at 8.45 am from the village hall car park and set off in an Easterly direction, but were soon heading South up to Ditchling Beacon and on towards the Southeast corner. From there is was a short walk to the Southwest corner where we stopped for 'elevenses'. Soon after as we came up to the South Downs Way a rain storm and high winds greeted us, hence the lack of photos for this section of the walk. After lunch in Ditchling we continued Northwards to the remaining corners of the Parish and then via the woods near St George's and Spatham Lane to a well-deserved tea and cake at Stoneywish.
