Ditchling WI held its meeting on Thursday January 5th 2012. Our speaker Dr Janet Pennington gave us a very interesting talk with slides on the “History of Sussex Inn Signs”. This was followed by Flower of the month, a raffle and tea and biscuits.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday February 2nd in Ditchling Village Hall at 2.30 pm. Our guest speaker will be Neil Sadler and the subject will be “A Policemans Lot”.
On Saturday February 25th 2012 we will be holding our famous ‘Marmalade Morning’ in Ditchling Village Hall from 10.30 until 12 noon. Please come along and enjoy coffee and refreshments. We will have Stalls selling cakes and plants and there will be a grand raffle.
